This investigation is built upon two hypotheses: a) There are factors linked to resilience and reading comprehension that establish a difference between the resilient students and the rest of the children that share their vulnerability condition. b) It is possible to control these factors in order to trigger and foster resilience. To prove these hypotheses, the general objective of this investigation is: To Determine which factors explain the excellent outcomes in reading comprehension of those students coming from an unprivileged socio-economic context.
