Descripción
Ana Figueiredo es Profesora Asociada del Instituto de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad de O’Higgins (Rancagua) e Investigadora Asociada de la línea Interacciones Grupales e Individuales del Centro de Estudios de Conflicto y Cohesión Social (COES; Centro ANID FONDAP).
Ana es Psicóloga, Magíster en Psicología Social y Doctora en Psicología Social por la Universidad de Coimbra (Portugal) en conjunto con la Universidad de Amsterdam (Países Bajos).
Desde 2021, Ana es miembro del Governing Council de la International Society of Social Psychology (ISPP). Anteriormente, se desempeñó como profesora en la Escuela de Psicología de la Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano y como jefa de carrera de Psicología Diurna en la misma institución. Antes, se desempeñó como investigadora postdoctoral en distintos proyectos en Portugal, Bélgica y Chile.
Actualmente es investigadora principal del Fondecyt de Iniciación Nº11201211, “Ideologías poscoloniales, políticas de reconocimiento y reparación, y relaciones intergrupales actuales: Los Mapuche en Chile”. y anteriormente fue postdoctorante del Fondecyt Nº 3160352, "Relaciones históricas y actuales entre personas Mapuche y chilenos no-indígena"(2015-2018).
Sus áreas de interés son: las representaciones de la historia, los conflictos históricos, la violencia, las relaciones intergrupales, dinámicas de adaptación cultural, las relaciones entre mayorías y minorías, la acción colectiva y las disidencias sexuales.
