Es de acceso abierto a la comunidad en la web <a href=\"http:\/\/met.uoh.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/met.uoh.cl&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1657727457057000&amp;usg=AOvVaw28QevG0rvgZ8SDN_MeLkuo\">met.uoh.cl<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Temperatura, humedad, intensidad y direcci\u00f3n del viento, precipitaciones y presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica son las variables que mide la estaci\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica instalada en el Campus Rancagua de la Universidad Estatal de O\u2019Higgins y que fue creada por un estudiante de Ingenier\u00eda Civil El\u00e9ctrica. Una de las caracter\u00edsticas principales de este prototipo es que utiliza implementos de bajo costo y que es autosuficiente energ\u00e9ticamente, porque posee un sistema de alimentaci\u00f3n compuesto por dos paneles solares y dos bater\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLos beneficios de contar con una estaci\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica de bajo costo -basada en Arduino- son principalmente la generaci\u00f3n de datos meteorol\u00f3gicos locales que permiten saber el comportamiento atmosf\u00e9rico de una zona predeterminada, en este caso el centro de Rancagua. Esta informaci\u00f3n puede ser utilizada para diversos estudios o investigaciones\u201d, explic\u00f3 An\u00edbal Cerda, quien acaba de titularse de Ingeniero Civil El\u00e9ctrico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los resultados de las mediciones son almacenados en una base de datos, debido a que la estaci\u00f3n se encuentra conectada a internet, por lo que las mediciones pueden ser visualizadas tanto en una p\u00e1gina web como en una aplicaci\u00f3n para dispositivos m\u00f3viles, agreg\u00f3 Cerda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este proyecto fue parte de la pr\u00e1ctica profesional y memoria de t\u00edtulo que fue supervisado por el acad\u00e9mico UOH Ra\u00fal Valenzuela. \u201cSe trabaj\u00f3 desde el dise\u00f1o, la construcci\u00f3n e implementaci\u00f3n de esta estaci\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica. La idea es probar el sistema, validarlo con otras mediciones de la red y poder generar este tipo de instrumentos que son de suma importancia para los estudios meteorol\u00f3gicos y clim\u00e1ticos\u201d, coment\u00f3 el experto en Ciencias Atmosf\u00e9ricas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las primeras pruebas de funcionamiento comenzaron a mediados de diciembre del 2021 y en enero del 2022 se logr\u00f3 una versi\u00f3n final con un funcionamiento totalmente correcto.
