Nuevamente se observa una brecha en favor de los hombres en este indicador, presentando una diferencia de 21,6 pp.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNotamos un nivel hist\u00f3rico de ocupaci\u00f3n y una participaci\u00f3n laboral cercana a los niveles previos a la pandemia del COVID-19. A pesar de estos avances, persisten grandes desaf\u00edos en materia de empleo y en eso nuestro gobierno est\u00e1 realizando las acciones necesarias para que m\u00e1s chilenos y chilenas puedan disponer de uno\u201d, precisa el Seremi del Trabajo y Previsi\u00f3n Social de O\u2019Higgins, Jaime Chamorro.<\/p>\n<p>En la ocupaci\u00f3n, todos los grupos etarios han tenido un incremento respecto al a\u00f1o anterior, con excepci\u00f3n de los mayores a 60 a\u00f1os. Destaca la categor\u00eda entre 30 y 44 a\u00f1os, con una tasa de 72,3%.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a la tasa de desocupaci\u00f3n en el trimestre abril \u2013 junio 2024, esta alcanz\u00f3 un nivel de 10,3%, evidenciando que 50.116 personas est\u00e1n disponibles para trabajar pero que a\u00fan no encuentran una vacante. Ac\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n se aprecia una brecha por g\u00e9nero, donde las mujeres presentan 4 pp. m\u00e1s de desempleo que los hombres.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, la informalidad en la regi\u00f3n presenta una tasa de 29,8%, con una brecha entre hombres y mujeres que alcanza 0,8 pp. en favor de las mujeres.<\/p>\n<p>Toda la informaci\u00f3n, an\u00e1lisis y estad\u00edstica del mercado laboral en
