Espec\u00edficamente, Tom\u00e1s ha investigado aplicaciones sobre el uso de materiales disecantes para captura de humedad para control higrot\u00e9rmicos, y uso de materiales con cambio de fase para acumulaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda.<\/p><p class=\"info-headings mb-2 text-left mt-4 mt-md-2\">Recibi\u00f3 su titulo y grado de mag\u00edster en la Universidad de Concepcion en 2009 y 2011, respectivamente. Luego trabaj\u00f3 como consultor en proyectos de eficiencia energ\u00e9tica en construcci\u00f3n, realizando modelamiento energ\u00e9tico de edificios. Entre 2019 y 2023 desarroll\u00f3 sus estudios doctorales en Purdue University, Indiana, EEUU, bajo la supervisi\u00f3n de la Profesora Dra. Ming Qu. En este periodo realiz\u00f3 investigaci\u00f3n respecto al dise\u00f1o y modelamiento matem\u00e1tico de equipos y sistemas de deshumidificaci\u00f3n basados en disecantes s\u00f3lidos y l\u00edquidos acoplados a bombas de calor.
